Kim Gasson, CTO at BT Global Services

Kim Gasson is CTO for BT Field Force Automation, a function within BT Global Services and heads up a team of field force automation consultants with the responsibility of supporting BT’s account teams. With a career spanning over 25 years for global services provider BT, Kim has held a series of leadership positions in BT, most recently as Head of Products and Partnership Director. In this role, he led the creation of BT’s Field Force Automation (FFA) business unit designed to assist companies to improve the operation and efficiency of mobile workforces and pioneered FFA’s expansion seeing rapid growth at around 50-70% year on year. With a workforce of over 11,000, the FFA proposition is based on BT’s transformation of its own field workforce, something Kim personally experienced at all levels in BT operations and so is ideally placed to pass this onto customers.

As part of in his role managed the investment of new solutions year on year, partner relationships and led major device partnerships. The business has grown across the UK/EMEA and continues to see healthy year on year revenues.

Kim is a frequent speaker at global conferences within the mobile technology industry and is frequently called upon by industry and business press to speak about a wide range of topics including fieldforce automation, mobility, business transformation and mobile strategy.

Peter has been with TNT for over 20 years and for the last decade has been involved with activity around Pick Up and Delivery drivers – those responsible for the collections and deliveries to customers. His role looks after legal compliance, route optimisation and driver handheld devices (including their estate of around 3,000 devices currently used out in the field) alongside other responsibilities.

Since 2008, Simon Stehle has been responsible for all central applications within the Global IT of Aebi Schmidt Group. The major SAP applications used by Aebi Schmidt Group are SAP ERP and SAP CRM. This year, Simon has also been responsible and involved in the implementation and roll-out of Aebi Schmidt’s new mobile Customer Service solution, which uses the Movilizer application.

Marilyn is responsible for all applications relating to field and mobile (Click Software/eTech software), including all mobile hardware and software, legacy and incoming SMART and Low Carbon/Green Deal. Selen is Solutions Analyst on the Smart Metering project which encompasses the implementation of Click 8.1 and new rugged tablet devices.


 

Jon Bilbrough, Project Manager at Environment Agency

After training in oceanography, Jon has over 15 years experience working in environmental science gained in both the public and private sector. Having worked at the Environment Agency for 8 years, Jon has had several roles being responsible for the design and deployment of the Environment Agency’s mobility project for its field workers. Jon’s most recent role is as technical lead working on a project to upgrade the Environment Agency’s scheduling software and mobile devices.
